This is an exciting opportunity to join an established brand and manage a high volume all day dining operation (not evenings). This leading brand already has an exceptional reputation for offering quality fresh food, excellent service and standards and strong values around people. The ideal candidate will have gained at least 2 years experience as a Deputy GM, Coffee Shop Manager or branded Restaurant Manager from posts held working within a premium branded restaurant, coffee, food led pub chain, Food and Beverage Manager from a hotel chain or volume restaurant operation. We are looking for a commercially astute Manager who has a proven track record and can demonstrate examples of delivering bottom line performance with high turnover operations. You will be responsible for a circa 150 cover cafe/restaurant with a large team including an Assistant Manager and Supervisors both front and back of house, and upwards of 15 staff. You must enjoy being front of house, hands on and highly visible in the restaurant with customers and staff. You should be able to effectively lead, motivate develop and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service and standards consistently. It is essential that you have some strong analytical skills as you will be responsible for all aspects of finance in the restaurant, including sales, gross profit, stock control, staff wages and controllable expenditure. We are looking for an excellent people manager with a team focus who can identify and monitor the training needs of the team and take an active role in developing and coaching people.
