I have a fantastic opportunity for an energetic Kitchen Manager who is looking to work within one of the UK’s leading holiday companies
This role would suit a Kitchen Manager that has come from a branded background and understands high volume catering.
This is a busy operation which peaks during the school holidays in the summer with covers hitting numbers of around 300 a day between Breakfast / Lunch & Dinner
You will be leading a team of 12 chefs and 4 KP's within the kitchen serving food to this all day dining concept, restaurant offering
You will need to be a good all-rounder managing all aspects of the kitchen operation including Stock Control, GP, H&S, Rotas, Ordering and forward planning.
Think traditional Pub Classics, Burgers, Steaks, Fish and Chips, Sharing Boards and other seaside favourites.
Menus are designed by a group development chef for the brand, you must be able to follow and adhere to specification sheets and ensure a high quality consistent product is produced every time.
We are looking for someone that has a strong high paced branded background but with fresh experience that will stand them in good stead to deliver amazing plates of quality food

The Restaurant is open seasonally with the resort and trades between March & November each year
During resort trading you will work 5 1/2 days per week that increases to 6 days per week during school holidays, with no Holidays to be taken during this period.
From November to March you not only have a full holiday entitlement to take, the Park is closed for Christmas so you would have a guaranteed festive period off work, along side this you will be cutting back to skeleton staff and hours allowing for a fantastic Monday to Friday based work life balance, you will also be recouping any additional lieu time that has been accrued over the season
Re-Location accommodation is available on site to help you settle into the role.
This role will suit a highly driven Kitchen Manager with a good engine for hard work and able to manage a very large turn over of customers.
What we are looking for
Kitchen Manager / Head Chef use to a very fast paced environment
Excellent organisation skills.
Good understanding of H&S, GP’s & all kitchen HR
Ability to drive & lead a large team and keep them motivated throughout the season
Ability to work with a combination of fresh & pre prepared produce
What they offer in return
Basic salary up to £33k per annum (negotiable for the right candidate)
Seasonal Bonus of £4k
