Are you a highly organised Kitchen Manager looking for a great new challenge?

Role would suit a relocator as the role comes with a 2-bedroom lodge.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an energetic Kitchen Manager/Head Chef who is looking to work within a high-volume, multi-site pub and restaurant. This role would suit a Kitchen Manager/Head Chef who has experience in a branded background and understands high-volume, spec-cooked catering.

This is a busy site, especially during the school holidays in the summer, with covers reaching around 300 per day for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

You will be leading a team of 12 chefs and 4 kitchen staff within the kitchen, serving food in our all-day dining concept restaurant. The key to success in this role will be exceptional people management skills, coaching, training, and leading the team. The role offers great personal development opportunities with a culture and history of developing people. 

You will need to have a strong understanding of managing your gross profit (GP) and all health and safety aspects of running a kitchen. Responsibilities will also include managing rotas, ordering, and logistic planning.

Our menu consists of traditional pub classics, burgers, steaks, fish and chips, sharing boards, and curries. The menus are designed by a group development chef for the brand, and you must be able to follow and adhere to specification sheets to ensure a high-quality, consistent product is produced every time.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in high-paced branded spec cooked establishments, that will enable them to consistently deliver great plates of food.

The role is all-encompassing but also rewarding in terms of salary and benefits. The restaurant is open seasonally, operating between March and January each year.

A two-bedroom self-contained lodge is available with Wi-Fi and all bills included.

This role will suit a highly driven Kitchen Manager with a strong work ethic and the ability to handle a large turnover of customers.
