**BRANDED RESTAURANT – DAYTIME HOURS**
This is an exciting opportunity to join an established brand in a high-volume, all-day dining operation as a Deputy Restaurant Manager. This leading brand already has an exceptional reputation for offering quality fresh food, excellent service and standards, and strong values around people.
The ideal candidate will have gained at least 2 years of experience as an Assistant / Deputy Manager in a premium, high-volume branded restaurant chain, or as a Food and Beverage Manager in a hotel chain or volume restaurant operation. We are looking for commercially astute Deputy Managers who have a proven track record and can demonstrate examples of delivering bottom-line performance in high-turnover restaurant operations.
You will be responsible for a circa 300-cover restaurant with a large team, including Supervisors both front and back of house, and upwards of 30 staff. You must enjoy being visible and engaging with customers and staff in the restaurant. You should be able to effectively lead, motivate, develop, and coach the team to consistently deliver excellent customer service and standards.
Strong analytical skills are essential as you will be responsible for all aspects of finance in the restaurant, including sales, gross profit, stock control, staff wages, and controllable expenditure. We are looking for an excellent people manager with a team focus who can identify and monitor the training needs of the team and take an active role in developing and coaching people.
