JSW has a NEW fantastic opportunity for a Bar Manager within a busy four star Hotel near Gatwick. This Hotel delivers a quality Food and Beverage operation throughout the day across multiple outlets including breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. The current F&B operation turns over circa £2million including £400k Conferencing and Banqueting. My client is a premium operator who has an exciting roll out programme going forward. 

The Ideal candidate will be an exceptional host who thrives on delivering an unrivalled customer experience. You must have a proven track record of running a quality bar operation such as a premium Style Bar, Hotel Bar or Cruise Liner. What's essential is you'll enjoy leading the Bar team, you'll be coaching and developing them to consistently deliver great service and first class standards. 

The ability to work under considerable pressure is crucial, with massive spikes in business due to airport customers. You should be able to effectively lead and motivate the Bar team to deliver excellent customer service and maintain a high standard of customer service at all times. It is essential that you are strong analytically, you will be responsible for all aspects of finance in the bars, including sales, gross profit, stock control, staff wages and controllable expenditure. We are looking for an excellent people-manager with team focus, an individual who can Identify and monitor training needs of his team and take an active role in developing people.

You will also need to have great beverage product knowledge especially with wine, beers and cocktails. Exposure to Conference, Banqueting and Events would be a distinct advantage. 

The package on offer comprises a highly competitive basic salary of up to £30k accompanied by an opportunity to earn up to £3k in bonus for beating your bottom line targets and delivering exceptional customer feedback.
